  • MARIO TESTINO: IN YOUR FACE

Rodrigo Costa - 08 de Abril de 2014

Mario Testino is one of the most famous fashion photographers in the world.  He has photographed hundreds of celebrities, in many different themes and proposals. And the result is always amazing., I'm a fan of his work, I wonder the richness of this collection of images.

Some of them, 122 photos, can be seen in the exhibition Mario Testino: In Your Face. The sample was exposed to the public for the first time in 2012 in Boston. Last week came to the land of our “hermanos”, Argentina.

I was at the exhibition opening at the Malba Museum in Buenos Aires, and I could closely check the incredible work of this photographer.

Besides having had the good fortune and privilege to go through the entire exhibition with Jan, who works directly with the beloved Mario Testino, He presented/gifted me with the story of each of the photos. A single moment.

Who is in the town, cannot miss it. It is worth seeing it. And I already know that the exposure is coming to São Paulo.

  • DAVID BOWIE EXPOSURE

Rodrigo Costa - 07 de Fevereiro de 2014

I like bold, authentic people who is not afraid to take risks and like to be different. So I really like David Bowie.

David is a musician, actor, record producer and reference for many people, whether the music, the fashion, or simply fans.

In fashion, he has been the subject of some parades. In the streets, we can see the singer stamped on T-shirts. And in the pictures we recognize his distinctive make-up.

There are 5 decades of great experiences; therefore, a lot of information can lies behind David Bowie. Moreover, to share some of that with the fans, the exhibition was assembled, what bears his name and carries set lists, lyrics, manuscripts, instruments and drawings, costumes, excerpts from films and live shows, video clips and photographs. This exhibition came to Brazil last weekend and goes until April at MIS (Museum of Image and Sound) in SP.
